Carmel Hilltop residenceThis project sits on top of a hill in the Carmel Valley. It is embedded into the terrain in order to disappear into the scenic landscape. A unique parabolic roof line maximizes the panoramic view from the site. My role in this project was to help with construction administration duties such as checking shop drawings, helping with site inspections, reviewing on-site mock-ups, etc.
Mock-up of board-formed concrete wall with cantelieverd concrete stair treads
This portion of the project introduces an orange glass cube entry that pierces through a corten steel privacy wall and transitions into the zinc-clad form of a modern hilltop residence. My role focused on drafting the design drawings and coordinating with the project manager to refine the concept and material detailing.
